Trees are the lungs of the earth. Without trees on earth, human beings would not survive, but without human beings, trees would still survive on earth abundantly.
Forest-adjacent communities in Africa are protecting today’s world’s most precious resource…indigenous forests. Providing these communities with Decent Wages and access to Payment for Ecosystem Services is not a favour but a decent ask. There is no pride in being poor yet protecting the most precious resource on the face of the earth.
We work in partnership with national forest agencies and local communities to rehabilitate degraded public forests. We plant indigenous trees and mangroves using science-backed, community-driven approaches.
Ka-Finje Tu is a subsidized Kenyans for Kenya indigenous forests initiative by EarthLungs.
